September 4, 2009 (Kearny, New Jersey) A citizen who saw a photograph of the
getaway car called the Kearny Police Department with information that led to
the arrest of Elvis Feratovic, 24, of Bloomfield. Feratovic has been
charged with felony murder and robbery. Feratovic is the alleged getaway
car driver who sped away after the robbery.
The Kearny Police are
continuing their search for the other two individuals involved in the
robbery.
Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio said following the arrest that "We are
hopeful that the two other individuals involved in this murder will be brought
to justice shortly". Feratovic is being held on $750,000 bail in the
Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny.
The Jersey Journal ran
a story on the arrest. It will be interesting to find out where the
citizen saw the picture of the getaway vehicle. Did he or she see if on
