November 8, 2009 (Harrison, NJ) The Harrison Fire Department with the assistance of Jersey City, Kearny, East Newark and Secaucus fire fighters extinguished a blaze at 405 and 407 Scott Mobus Place in Harrison. The initial investigation into the fire has determined that a roofer started the blaze in one of the attached row houses and the fire spread to the other house.

There was no one injured as a result of the fire. Other attached row houses received smoke damage but were otherwise not damaged. A family of four have been displaced by the fire and are staying with relatives.
