November 2, 2012 (Kearny, NJ) Electrical power was restored to the Town of Harrison earlier this morning bringing online the last of the communities covered by KOTW. PSE&G had stated earlier that power would not be restored until Monday but the early return of electricity was welcomed by the residents of Harrison.
Harrison's power was disrupted when the power station which provides power to the town was flooded. PSE&G worked around the clock drying and cleaning the electronic equipment. KOTW celebrates the return of power and welcomes comments on its Discussion about how life was without electrical power and what can be done to prevent another outage. |
